I love Calvin and Hobbes. I think I have two copies of every collection (gifts from people who love me) and have some of the original newspaper clippings.
The sad thing is that kids these days don't get the depth of that strip there...it's like seeing AtP with his Mao Tse Tung messenger bag, or a guy walking across BYU campus with a RED shirt with CCCP across the front.
Hello I also LOVE Calvin & Hobbes myself.I have a few books of them myself and they are still fun to read.I still miss it in the Sunday funnies.They seem empty without Calvim & Hobbes.I also miss Peanuts(though they do reprint a classic strip from time to time)and many others.I still enjoy the comics. By the way,I like it that you did post that strip.It shows that war without peace is ignorant.It also shows that nothing gets anywhere if you do not have any solutions to problems.
